I just got this from my brother and sister-in-law for my birthday, and it's even more beautiful in person! I love to bake, and cupcakes are my favorite thing to bake, so as soon as I saw this on Amazon, I added it to my wish list.

The style is great, it's 1950's style and looks like a dress that you might have seen Lucy wear in "I love Lucy", and yet it is very useful as an apron! I wouldn't recommend that you wear this without anything under, unless you like to show your lower posterior to the world ;)

The waist is nice and stretchy, which is great for a "full" woman, as myself ;)

Anyway, it's a great apron!

I like this apron so far. The material isn't real thick, but I think it's sturdy enough. There were no strings hanging out. Well made in other words.

My husband really liked it and thought it was adorable, so that was a bonus.

Conclusion:

You'll like it if you are wanting something cute that gives adequate protection from flour etc,. It will not adequately protect your clothes if your apron gets wet. Even small drops of water will soak through.

Therefore, because it is a much thinner apron, I only recommend for fairly light use, NOT heavy.

I gave it 4 stars because you're paying more for look rather than quality (kind of obvious though). I'd say this is a $15 apron..not $25. And a little disappointed it wasn't treated with moist guard, or water guard, like most aprons are.

I'm in love with this apron. I'd wear it out in public if I had the guts. Seriously. It's adorable! It's made of really quality fabric, fits perfectly, and washes like a dream. I love it!
